If you’re playing in a live band keyboard backing tracks are something you should more than just consider, you should just go ahead and do it. I can tell you that once you get over the idea of playing your music to a click track you’re going to absolutely love the way it helps you to diversify your set lists. It combines the best elements of having a keyboard player, that is, the keyboard part is there, but without having to have somebody to play keyboards full time. Personally I think keys can become a little too much, depending on the song of course.
