Well I had a customer request the song Signed, Sealed, Delivered by the very talented Stevie Wonder. I enjoyed doing the song so much that I though I needed to do another tune by him. I just love the horn sounds in his writing. So I got down to it an finished up tracks for a couple of his songs in both A440 and E Flat tunings.
You can check them both out by clicking on the link for Superstition and Signed, Sealed, Delivered and hitting the “Listen” link next to the song title on the page.
Don’t forget to check out the whole library of tracks by visiting downloadable backing tracks and browsing alphabetically. Your band will love how huge your sound is when you use these tracks to accompany the music you play on stage.
Peace gang and rock on….

Well Christmas has come and gone and the New Year is upon us. Most of you guys are probably playing tomorrow night. I have the night off for a change but I get to spend some time working on backing tracks for the site for the next few days.
I have a few recent additions to make you all aware of so here they are in no particular order:
Enrique Iglasias - I Like It
Honeymoon Suite - New Girl Now
Steve Perry - Oh Sherrie
Pseudo Echo - Funky Town
The Pseudo Echo tune of course is a very cool cover of the song Funky Town by Lipps Inc, but is played in the Key of E rather than the original key of C. It’s a killer backing track and a killer tune. You can check out their version here.
I hope you all have a safe and happy new year…. Peace to you all…

OK, so today I spent my afternoon putting together my first backing tracks for what will soon be a bunch of Nickelback songs. The song I chose today is called Savin’ Me and unlike the rest of my tracks, it’s only available in one tuning which is full step down with the low E string dropped to C.
You can check it out by going to Nickelback - Savin’ Me.
Enjoy, gang….

OK so I’ve been kind of bad here. I’m busy and not always able to get at making tracks but I work at it every chance I get. Sometimes I make them and fail to post them, as is the case with this song - Led Zepplin, Kashmir.
I finally have it on the main site in two tunings. The song itself is Dropped D but I still use A440 and E Flat as the reference tunings so the song is dropped to D from A440 etc…
You can get it by clicking on Led Zepplin - Kashmir and clicking on the appropriat “listen” button when you get there.
Don’t forget you can check out all of our backing tracks by clicking on downloadable backing tracks and browsing our library alphabetically.
Peace gang….

Okay so I admit it’s been a whils since I’ve posted but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy making backing tracks, and using many of them with my own bands. I’d like to be making more but I’m so busy playing live right now that I’m finding it a tad difficult to find the time. Nonetheless, I do have some new ones for you guys to use with your bands. As usual they’re available for A440 tuning and E Flat tuning.
The newest trax since I last posted are as follows;
Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam
Led Zepplin - Kashmir
Bobby Brown - My Perrogative
Electric Light Orchestra - Don’t Bring Me Down
Men At Work - Down Under
The Four Seasons - Oh What a Night
They’re all really great tracks and I’m using a few of them myself. A few of them were customer requests and I’m happy to say that I’m pretty pleased with how they’ve all turned out. Make sure you go to our Downloadable Backing Tracks page to see what other tracks are available for you to use with your band.
And while I think of it, I recently posted a video of one of my bands using backing tracks live on stage on New Years Eve. It’s not too long, just three or four songs put together to give you an idea of how the tracks sound when you use them. Those same tracks are available on this site BTW. So be sure to go check out the bands using backing tracks video to see how it sounds…
Best regards,
IK

So I’ve finally been able to get through my Christmas season and have spent a lot of time in January making up new backing tracks for your live band to use on stage. Most of the new ones I’ve created have been by request as well.
I put a couple of tracks up on the main site today available for playing in both A440 and E Flat tunings. The first is an old favourite by The Bee Gees and is caled Stayin’ Alive and the other one I put up is It’s All I Can Do by The Cars.
We’re really starting to get a good, usable collection of tracks on the site now and you can view them all by browsing through them alphabetically at Downloadable Backing Tracks. You’re sure to find a backing track that will work great with your band, and make you sound awesome. Be sure to check out the video of bands using backing tracks live. It’s a video that shows a few seconds of different songs with a band using tracks form the Backing Tracks For Bands website.
Enjoy… IK
